Isabel Leming
Sports Coach
After completing her degree in Psychology and Sports studies, earning an academic award for her outstanding dissertation, Isabel moved to the University of Glasgow to obtain her Masters – an MRes in Brain Sciences. Having always been a keen footballer, her time at university saw Isabel play semi-professionally within the Scottish premier league with Falkirk FC and she become vice-captain of the University team.
Isabel is passionate about making a difference. She currently provides enhanced care and therapy to patients following a traumatic brain injury. Isabel develops behaviour management strategies to aid the rehabilitation process, working with patients who typically present with complex behavioural and cognitive issues. She also offers comfort and strength to their families.
Formerly working with a therapeutic outreach service, Isabel assisted in improving the emotional wellbeing of children presenting with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. Her intuitive personality and caring nature allowed her to establish valuable relationships with those around her. Having completed the NLP practitioner course with Kath Temple, Isabel’s skill-set was broadened and she was able to utilize these skills with children to find healthy perceptions of themselves, strengthen their relationships and successfully manage their behaviour.
